While I do find it a bit strange. Though not being in the industry, I have a feeling this happens on a regular basis. But in this day and age where everything is reported and information needs to come immediately to the readers this might sound more drastic than it is. Again this is my interpretation and I could be completely wrong.

Why not just buy a wired Xbox controller for your PC, if you don't like the PC controls? It works great.
I like to clear out the area of everything before heading to the mission as well. Always do that with the AC games as well.
Does anyone even notice the light bar while playing? The light bar is on the front of the controller and I'm looking at the TV while playing. I like the idea of it, but it doesn't really add anything to my gaming experience right now.
I do like the speaker though and I hope more developers utilize it more.

I'll probably turn it off just to save battery life. To be honest, I never notice what the light is doing or what color it is at any given moment.
If its about the same length as the first 2, I'll be happy. Took my time and was very thorough playing through those.
